My research work is centered on nanoscale protein and peptide sequencing via resistive pulse sensing (RPS) using an immobilized enzymatic nanofluidic device fabricated with thermoplastics with the use of nanoimprint lithography (NIL). Currently, my work is centered on the use of a nanofluidic device consisting of dual in-plane nanopores to identify peptides by measuring their electrophoretic mobility expressed as the time-of-flight (TOF) of single peptides generated from the proteolytic digestion of intact proteins as they move between nanopores.
